Oxycodone dependency has FDA-approved medication options that can improve your recovery outcomes. We offer Subutex and Suboxone as part of our comprehensive treatment approach. These medications help stabilize your brain chemistry while you focus on the psychological and behavioral aspects of recovery.
We may also use additional medications to treat co-occurring conditions, like depression, anxiety, or chronic pain, that contributed to your Oxycodone dependency.
Recovery continues after treatment. We work with you to create an aftercare plan that suits your needs, which can include:

For many people, opiate rehab lasts 30–90 days.
If Oxycodone has had a strong hold on your life, or if you’re also working through past trauma, anxiety, or depression, you might benefit from a longer stay (60+ days). This gives you time to detox, build new coping skills, and untangle the roots of addiction.
Shorter programs (around 30 days) work if your addiction is less severe and you have strong support at home. Either way, your plan is individualized. We’ll never rush your progress.
When opioid use disorders and mental health disorders (like anxiety, depression, or PTSD) happen together, it’s called a dual diagnosis treatment. Through a mental health assessment, we will evaluate your usage patterns, physical dependence, and the underlying conditions that contribute to your addiction.
Oxycodone affects the central nervous system by binding to opioid receptors in the brain and spinal cord. It blocks pain signals from reaching the brain, which is why it’s effective for managing severe pain. It also triggers the release of dopamine, which creates feelings of euphoria that can lead to addiction.
Unlike recreational drugs, oxycodone is one of many prescription opioids that healthcare professionals legally prescribe for legitimate medical conditions. This can make addiction seem less serious or “safer” to patients, but oxycodone products carry the same addiction risks as other narcotic drugs.
A healthcare professional can conduct a thorough mental health assessment to determine if your oxycodone use has become problematic. They can evaluate your usage patterns, physical dependence, and any underlying conditions that may contribute to addiction.
Chronic abuse can lead to serious long-term side effects, including respiratory depression, liver damage, cognitive impairment, and increased risk of overdose. The longer someone abuses oxycodone, the more severe these health consequences become.
